Live to Create November

What a wonderful day - thank you to all of you for your open participation, and especially to Erica for co-hosting the event. It was great to have a mixture of familiar and new faces.

This was the first Live to Create one day workshop, and it was good to discover that we could cover most of the sessions and still have time to share our stories and experiences, and to have fun.

In the morning we explored what creativity means to us, and how it has come to be so undervalued. Through our own stories and experiences we explored the practical and emotional barriers to creativity, and how to remove them. After a lovely lunch across the road, we mapped or values, created monograms, danced, and rediscovered how to tune out the noise and distractions that can prevent us from being our creative selves.

Once again the mighty closing abundance circle came into its own, matching amongst other things a broken DVD player with a performance artist, and a filmmaker with the vintage fabrics needed for a special project.

By the end of the day we'd all looked at our creativity in a new light, and made new friends. Thanks to Ziggy for capturing the moment!
